Return & Replacement Policy

At Bockety Box, we are committed to delivering fresh, high-quality produce straight to your door. This policy outlines how returns, replacements, cancellations, and subscriptions work. It is designed to be fair, transparent, and fully compliant with Irish and EU consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

1. Perishable Goods and Returns
Because our boxes contain fresh, perishable food, they are exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal under Irish and EU consumer law. We cannot accept returns or offer refunds if you change your mind after your box has been delivered. Once your box arrives, it cannot be returned.

2. Weekly Subscription Service
By subscribing to Bockety Box, you agree to a recurring weekly payment.

Weekly Cut-Off Time:
Orders, changes, or cancellations must be made before Sunday at 10am.
Any cancellation or change made after this time will apply to the following week’s box, as produce will already have been purchased and allocated.

How to Cancel:
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your online account or by emailing info@bocketybox.ie
Cancellations made after the weekly cut-off will apply to the next cycle.

3. Replacements and Substitutions
At times, certain fruits or vegetables may be unavailable. In these cases, we may replace an item with a similar product of equal type and value. This allows us to work with seasonal availability, support Irish growers, and help reduce food waste.

4. Damaged or Poor-Quality Items
If anything in your box arrives damaged, spoiled, or not up to standard, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally on the day of delivery, at info@bocketybox.ie.
Please include photos of the issue to help us identify the cause and prevent future problems. We may ask you to safely dispose of the affected item. Depending on the situation, we will offer a replacement item, a partial refund, or a full refund.

5. Delivery Responsibility
Once your box has been delivered to your address or left in your designated safe place, responsibility transfers to you. Because produce is perishable, we cannot take responsibility for spoilage caused by boxes left outside for extended periods, heat exposure, theft, or damage after delivery. Please bring your box indoors as soon as possible.

6. Failed Deliveries
If a courier cannot access your address, or if the address provided is incorrect or incomplete, we cannot guarantee redelivery due to the perishable nature of the goods. No refund can be issued where delivery failed due to incorrect details or lack of access.

7. Allergy Disclaimer
Bockety Box is unable to accommodate allergies or provide allergy-safe boxes. All produce may be handled in environments that contain common allergens, and cross-contamination is possible. If you have specific allergy requirements, our service may not be suitable for you.
